THANKS FOR A GREAT 2014 SEASON! HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT SEASON.
We are a Strawberry Farm offering Pick-Your-Own and prepicked strawberries. We started our farm in 2003. We have 0.6 of an acre that was planted in 2013. In the spring of 2014 we replanted about an acre, so both fields will be productive in 2015. Our home is on top of the hill. Half of the field has frontage on Old Sauk Road and the other half is located on the north side of our home. We are fortunate to have nicely sloped fields so heavy rain and muddy conditions are usually not a problem.
Berry Hill Farm is conveniently located in the town of Middleton, Wisconsin approximately 4 miles west of the Madison beltline as the crow flies at the corner of Old Sauk Road and Windsong Circle.
Pick Your Own
We provide trays and/or quarts for you to put your strawberries in as you pick, a wonderful day outdoors, and the opportunity to learn a little about growing strawberries at our education center.
Season and Hours of Operation
Our berries are "June Bearing" strawberries. As such our season typically begins mid June unless of course mother nature gives us a rather warm spring to move us up to early June. The season typical lasts for about 2 to 2.5 weeks. So be sure to come early and often as it is a short season. Once the season is in full swing, we are open seven days a week, typically Monday-Thursday 7am-12, 4pm-7pm; Friday-Saturday 7am-7pm; and Sunday 7am-4pm.
